Kion is surprised that his parents have heard of Hadithi, and Nala explains that Hadithi is a hero to many animals on the savanna. After the argument, Kion instructs Fuli to rest while the other members of the Lion Guard help Bunga find Utamu grubs. Eventually, Ono spots Beshte's tracks and leads the team into the cavern through which Beshte had followed the skinks. Vitani calls for a mashindano, or a physical fight. Fuli is Kion's friend and later his second in command, a former member of the Lion Guard and a current member of the Night Pride at the Tree of Life. A shocked Azaad questions why she had not simply won the race, and Fuli explains that friends help each other. Fuli relents and takes off, just as Hadithi lands next to Ono. He then warns Kion that there is no other way around the rocks and that the storm is closing in fast. While the Lion Guard works to save Lumba-Lumba, a wave washes Ora and his friends back to shore. First, the team does an obstacle course, but when it's Mtoto's turn to dash through the water, he gets water in his trunk and sprays it all over Fuli. Across the Pride Lands, Kion laments having left Ono behind with Hadithi, as the tallest tree in the Pride Lands is difficult to climb. Fuli and Kion stare in bewilderment at the defeated jackals. Kion confirms that he will and that they just need to save the giraffe first, before leaving with the rest of the Guard in tow. She is a major character in The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar and The Lion Guard. The Lion Guard rushes to Pride Rock, following the sounds of Tiifu and Zuri yelling for help. Fuli and the rest of the Lion Guard approach and affirm that they are all right, including Ono, who arrives with his crest feathers gone. Kion apologizes to the snow monkeys and vows to find them a new home as repayment. Fuli and Makini attempt to make Kongwe move. The friends travel to Big Springs, where Beshte shows off his home to his friends. Fuli breaks up a spar between two members of Makuu's float. His distress deepens when Ono notifies him that a herd of sable antelope is waiting to cross to the other side of the Flood Plains. Scar then calls his army forward, and they corner the Lion Guard at the edge of the lava. However, once she ventures closer, she realizes that she must have made a mistake, for the rock has no hole. Though hesitant, the Guard agrees to the king's wishes, and the team veers off in a new direction. After Bunga flags down Hadithi, the eagle starts to talk with Ono, and eventually tells him just how many fans he has, while Fuli watches from nearby. Once at Mizimu Grove, Fuli and the Lion Guard comment on how well the animals are behaving, though Kion remains unconvinced of Makuu's reformation. Once at the sinkhole, Bunga foolishly jumps in, and the Lion Guard deliberates how they can free him and Simba. To her surprise, Bupu relents and tells her that they had only wanted the Lion Guard to be polite to them. Just then, Ono realizes that the crocodiles are attempting to ambush Simba, and he hastens to warn Kion of the danger. He then calls Ono a natural hero, and the gathered Pride Landers cheer for him. With the mission successfully sorted, Bunga goes to show Beshte the paintings, while Kion, Fuli, and Ono stay behind and question the zebras as to why they'd stampeded. Simba interrupts Kiburi's speech, and Kiburi realizes that the Lion Guard has outsmarted him. A drongo, named Tamaa points the Guard in the direction that the hyenas supposedly went, and as the Guard leaves Fuli notes, that he is the first to actually see anything. On the other side of the Flood Plains, the Lion Guard leads the antelope to the edge of the water, where Boboka and her son enter one of Beshte's hippo lanes. At the ceremony, Fuli watches Makini paint a picture of the Royal Family, where everyone is amazed by her skills. He then takes off again into the forest. He then calls the Lion Guard to follow him and help rescue Ono. His shout frightens some gazelles who are sheltering in the bushes, and they beg the Lion Guard not to hurt them, for they had simply been hiding. Kongwe watches in amazement, as she had not expected a cheetah to listen to a tortoise. Kion X Kiara Part 2. However, when the five arrive at the scene, they find a little hyrax stuck in a thorn bush. Her yellow fur is also a bit paler. In a panic, the aardwolves flee, and the Lion Guard races after them. Fuli orders a group of animals to step back from their water hole, for fear of lightning. Ono swoops down to check on his winded friend, and Kion admits that the river is too rough for crossing. In a panic, the friends cross the log to save him, but the log tips, throwing the team to the other side of the river. Eventually, the Lion Guard and the Night Pride succeed in driving off the army, though Rani criticizes Kion for not following her lead. However, at the last minute, Nala calls for a halt, and Kion explains that Kiara is simply learning how to track, not kill. Kion leaves the group to continue his healing while Ono tries searching for Bunga himself. Shortly after, a rockslide occurs, breaking the path between the Guard and the herd. He is quick to leap into a mud pool, but in doing so, he accidentally showers his teammates with mud. Not long after the hyena incident, the Lion Guard happens across a zebra who is fervently trying to escape danger. Once at the scene of the blockage, the Lion Guard is confronted by Makucha and his friends. Badili passes every test, and the Lion Guard expresses their confidence in his newfound determination. A fight ensues, in which Fuli takes on the leader of the Night Pride, Rani. The Lion Guard then follows his lead down the slope to rescue the gazelles. No sooner has the Lion Guard escaped when Scar appears in the flames of Pride Rock and tells the Pride Landers to abandon their home. Despite Kion's fears, Bunga insists that Scar did not lose his Roar because he used it against other lions, but because he used it for evil. Kion continues to Roar in order to hold the water back while the Lion Guard rescues nearby animals. After the fight, Kion thanks Kifaru and Mwenzi for their help, and the two attribute their victory to each other. Kion, however, refuses to leave, noting that the Lion Guard swore to protect the Tree of Life during the day. Kion, however, does not participate and instead takes to looking at Rafiki's paintings of Scar, who had abused the Roar of the Elders. Fuli climbs across a fallen tree to save Kion. Across the Pride Lands, Janja rejoices at the sound until the ledge beneath him gives way, and he and his cronies fall to the bottom of the cliff. Makuu begrudgingly agrees to help, but his training is too rigorous and ruthless for the other Pride Landers to master. Frustrated, Fuli sings "Baboons! He informs them that, via a special feature called infrasound, he can hear that several Pride Landers are heading toward Pride Rock. Along the way, the Guard walks through a forest. Ono overhears Janja's cackling and reports what he's heard to Kion, who suspects Scar of causing the trouble. The Lion Guard then discovers that Ma Tembo has been forcibly outed by Bupu. After the Lion Guard delivers Basi to safety, Ono arrives with news that a herd of sable antelope are refusing to leave their grazing grounds, even though another storm is on the way. Back in the Pride Lands, Kiara thanks the Lion Guard for her rescue. unexpectedly. Ono is delighted, but Janna warns him that his vision will never be as good as it once was. When he does not stop Roaring, Fuli anxiously tells him to stop. Kion is the leader of the Lion Guard and Fuli is a cheetah who is a member of Kion's Guard. This time, Fuli anticipates Makucha's zigzagging strategy and manages to catch up to him and pin him down. After the fight, Jasiri arrives with Janja and implores the Pride Landers to trust him. Eventually, through teamwork, the Lion Guard corners the snow leopard, Chuluun, against a rock. With the hawk gone, Fuli and the Lion Guard congratulate Ono for his heroic rescue. Together, the two jump over the fire to safety, and the rest of the Lion Guard successfully puts out the fire. Kion lectures her for rushing ahead of them, but Fuli reminds him that she'd known she could handle it by herself. Her disdain for other species does not interfere with her inner heroism, for Fuli is willing to jump in paw and tail to save the Pride Lands from harm. Gender Together, Fuli and the Lion Guard set off in search of the Zimwi. Later that day, Timon and Pumbaa are met by the Lion Guard, who sing "The Twelve Ways of Christmas" to them with their animal recruits. Kion uses the Roar of the Elders to defeat the Outlanders, while Simba deliberates what to do with Ma Tembo. Fuli and the Guard rescue a pangolin from a dust devil. Alignment During the festivities, Bunga constructs a giant snow ball for his adoptive uncle, Timon. Though Beshte tries to brush the scrapes off as a coincidence, Ono catches sight of the hyenas and jackals converging in the Outlands, confirming Kion's suspicions.
